- You need a basic life support certificate
- And finally you need 2 years’ experience as a registered nurse.
The DHA application procedure can be done online. Although it is said as a simple and easy procedure, in reality it is a lengthy process. A lot of paper works are required to start the application:
- A valid passport
- A passport size photograph is required with a white background
- Birth certificate
- Nursing qualification certificates
- A transcript of all training in hours
- Previous employment references
These documents need to be scanned and uploaded in the DHA portal after you finish creating your account. After the verification of the authorities, the nurses are required to take a two-hour multiple choice exam which consist of 70 questions. And if the candidate answers at least 60 percent i.e. 42 questions right then the candidate will receive an eligibility letter which is considered valid for one year.
