The Qatar prometric exam is the major criterion for obtaining a license to practice in the medical and paramedical fields in the state of Qatar. This exam is required in order to work as a health practitioner in Qatar. Given below is the necessary steps required in order to apply for the Qatar prometric exam for a Pharmacist.

1.Prepare the required documents

Your documents need not be attested yet since you need to scan all of them. The required documents are listed below.

  • Transcript of records
  • Work experience: At least a minimum of two years is required.
  • One color passport size photo
  • A copy of your passport
  • Authorization letter for Qatar prometric
  • Proof of professional registration in India. This includes-
  1. PRC License (should not be expired)
  2. Board Certificate
  3. Certificate of Good Standing

     All of the above documents must be properly scanned.

2.Wait for the eligibility ID

This process might take up to six weeks so you can get started on the next step which is PSV and Prometric Exam scheduling. With this, you can start monitoring your credential evaluating process that are being done on your uploaded documents. Make sure that you use a UAE-based credit card for paying the fee at the end of your Qatar prometric application. This is the only phase where you will have to use that particular credit card.

3.Apply for PSV

After your documents have been pre-evaluated, you will receive an email that contains the link to have your Primary Source Verification done. Your fees must be paid with the help of internationally accredited credit cards. Wait for your PSV report. This process can take almost six weeks to be finally completed.

4.Schedule your prometric exam

Once you have received your Qatar prometric reference number, you can schedule your exam. After the exam has been scheduled, start preparing for your test.

5.Go to the test center

Reach the examination center at least an hour before the exam so that you can have room for preparation. Do not forget your passport (original) and your appointment receipt. Your biometrics would be taken and your documents verified. You are not allowed to bring anything with you to the examination room.

6.Wait for your exam results

Results will be out within two to five days. If you have passed your examination, it will be indicated on your Sheryan account. Once you have passed your exams, collect the necessary papers required in order to travel abroad. Your license will be processed once you get a job. On handing over your eligibility letter to your employer, they will process the license for you.
