Qualifications and eligibility criteria

 The basic qualification for the Qatar Prometric exam is a BSc degree in pharmacy. You will also need experience of two years to practice professionally in Qatar.

 How to register for the exam

 To register for the Qatar Prometric exam all you need is your passport. With just your passport you can book or register for your exam.

This is a computer-based exam so based on the availability of computers you can register accordingly. You can do the same on the Prometric site with your passport. While registering you can check your nearby exam centers and apply accordingly.

In Kerala, there is a center at Thiruvananthapuram. Other centers include the ones in Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, etc. so you can choose your nearest center while applying.

 How to apply for the exam

  • Make sure you have all the documents and upload them accordingly after scanning them. A detailed list of documents is given below.
  • Wait for your eligibility ID-This can take a while so you can move on to the next process that is to apply for PSV.
  • After your documents are pre-evaluated by the Qatar Prometric, an email will be sent to you that has the link to have your Primary Source Verification done.
  • Pay the fees required and this can be done only using internationally accredited credit cards.
  • Your PSV report can take a while so you would have to wait for it before you move on to the next process.
  • Schedule your exam. You will get a Qatar Prometric Reference no. after your PSV is done. So with that, you can schedule your examination.
  • Go to the test center you got and attempt your Qatar Prometric exam. Without your passport, you will not be allowed to appear in the center. Also, take an extra ID in case they need further verification.
  • Wait for your result. You can get it two to five days after your exam.

 The Saudi Prometric Exam is an exam conducted by the Saudi Council of Examination. All the foreign pharmacists who wish to continue their practice should pass this examination. It is a computer based examination and only those candidates who pass the same will be able to get a license for their practice.

Qualifications and eligibility criteria

 To sit for the Saudi Prometric exam it is mandatory to have PharmD or a BSc Pharmacy degree.


 The booking or the exam slot can be done only after the registration. The committee will be notifying the exact dates before the exam and the registration should be done accordingly
