UAE is such a fascinating country that it always captivates people’s attention, and also one of the safest places to work. In 2014, the government of Dubai and Abu Dhabi jointly announced the unification of the license for medical practitioners, allowing them to work anywhere across the country with any of the MOH/ HAAD (DOH)/ DHA licenses. The law standardized various facets of medical services in the public and private sectors. It ensures a single and standard procedure for hiring. The agreement allows medical practitioners to convert their licenses from one issuing authority to another.

The most important thing is that you cannot convert your license even if you have cleared the DHA exam. To become eligible for the conversion, you need to have a job on the license and should work for a minimum of 6 months.

Difference Between HAAD and DOH

Health Authority of Abu Dhabi (HAAD) has modified its name to Department of Health (DOH), and HAAD examination is known as DOH exam now. The term DOH Report Transfer denotes the conversion of DHA/MOH license to DOH.

Steps of  DOH Report Transfer

The conversion procedures are completely online and require a good standing certificate which can be obtained from the DHA account. It takes 2-3 working days to generate the certificate. After receiving the good standing certificate, you can apply for the conversion by referring to the procedures listed below.
