The FPGEE is an exam administered by the NABP. It assesses the educational equivalence of pharmacy graduates from outside the United States, ensuring their knowledge and skills meet the standards required for pharmacy practice in the U.S. Passing the FPGEE is a crucial step for foreign-trained pharmacists to obtain the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee (FPGEC) Certification, which is necessary to proceed towards licensure.
The FPGEE is designed to evaluate a candidate’s competency across various domains of pharmaceutical knowledge. It covers fundamental and advanced topics that are essential for safe and effective pharmacy practice in the U.S.
